The Democratic Republic of the Congo and the French Republic maintain historic relations based on friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect. These bilateral relations are expressed in many fields: diplomacy, economy, education, culture, scientific research, and security.
France is a privileged partner of the DRC, notably through:
